Animal Hospital Journal: All Entries and Rewards
The Journal is Animal Hospital (Anomaly)‘s collection log and achievement system in one. Added in the July 25, 2026 “The Hazmat Team Arrives” update, it sits in the hospital Lobby and records every Anomaly, NPC, and Achievement you have unlocked — and pays Animal Coins for each entry you fill. Completing everything is worth 960 coins total: 100 from the Anomalies tab, 115 from NPCs, and 745 from Achievements.

Anomalies tab (100 coins)
Each entry unlocks by surviving the encounter it describes — usually by taking the hit.

Yes, the design is mildly evil: journal completion requires letting monsters hurt you. Budget the sanity cost against the sanity guide before farming these.

The Shift 100 entry carries a lore tease: “The end? I don’t think so. [REDACTED] will come to end the Hospital’s suffering.”
Spending the coins
Journal payouts feed straight into classes and skins — the only things Animal Coins currently buy. The 960-coin full clear covers the Nurse (20 coins) many times over and makes a real dent in pricier classes; see the classes guide for what to buy first.
