Animal Hospital Map: Every Room, Wing, and Secret
Knowing the building is half the job in Animal Hospital (Anomaly) — every second spent hunting for a remedy case is a second a critical patient’s timer keeps ticking. Here is every area the wiki documents, wing by wing.
Lobby and Waiting Area
The Lobby is the hospital’s public space. Some patients sit here permanently — lobby sitters who never walk to the check-in window, only chat about the hospital (and can still be attacked by Mimics). The Journal, the catalog of anomalies, NPCs, and achievements added in the July 25, 2026 update, is accessed here; every entry pays Animal Coins, as itemized in the Journal guide. Dr. Harlow can be found sitting in the hospital lobby in later shifts, and interacting with him in the waiting area is the only way to talk with him after shift 6. Waiting Area Patients can be treated for extra cash — up to $100 in shift 1.
Reception Office (check-in)
The Reception Office is your command post, holding almost every core tool:
- Check-in window and computer — register patients so the printer produces their badge; the monitor shows how many patients remain in the shift
- Shutters — close via the red button to reject anomalies (blocked while a Head Banger is at the window)
- Viewing TV — cycles the four security cameras: check-in, lobby, medical, and emergency
- Photo camera — prints polaroids that expose anomalies
- Coffee machine — brews one free coffee at a time, one every three minutes (finishing Barney’s storyline without betraying him earns a second, larger machine with a five-minute cooldown)
- Free taser — a renewable taser appears here after Dr. Harlow unlocks it at the end of shift 3
The Stalker also likes to register at this office, and Ratthew’s farewell conversation happens inside it. A wheelchair for moving patients faster sits near the hospital entrance.
Medical Wing — Rooms 1-5 (right side)
Unlocked from the very beginning, the Medical Wing runs along the right side of the hospital with five patient rooms. Its left wall holds folding chairs, Room 1, the hydration treatments, anti-inflammatory treatments, integumentary remedies, and Room 3; a green recycling bin sits next to Room 5 on the front wall; the right wall carries Room 4, the syrup treatments, another recycling bin, the medical treatments, Room 2, and more chairs.
Room 5 hides the wing’s secret: take down the cat poster and the Vault is behind it, opened with the key from Ratthew’s storyline — contents and choices are covered in the key and Vault guide.
Emergency Wing — Rooms 6-8 (left side)
Opened by Dr. Harlow early in the run, the Emergency Wing sits on the left side with its entrance adjacent to the reception office. Its three rooms demand more work per patient:
- Room 6 — X-ray room: patients stand in the X-ray rather than lying on a bed
- Room 7 — heartbeat room: hosts the heartbeat minigame (skipped entirely on Xbox and PlayStation)
- Room 8 — Surgery: the surgery minigame room; its sign reads “SURGERY” instead of a number, and completing a surgery grants +1 sanity
The wing mirrors the Medical Wing’s treatment cases: syrups and medical treatments on the left side, hydration, anti-inflammatory, and integumentary remedies on the right. What each item cures is tabled in the treatments guide.
Supplies Shop and vending machine
The Supplies Shop is a small stall at the back of the hospital, opened at the start of shift 3 and run by the Shopkeeper Nurse. Three random items are offered per shift, purchasable only during the first 3 minutes; a reroll costs 19 Robux. Just outside it stands a vending machine that always stocks Run Fast Cola. Dr. Harlow himself has no documented office — he is seen in the lobby, at reception after shifts, going to the staff room, or outside talking to a hazmat-suited Animal Corporation employee.
Note that the class shop is not in the hospital at all — it is in the server lobby, next to the ambulance by the spawn point, covered in the classes guide.
