Liz in Animal Hospital: UV Camera Quest & Her House

Liz at a Glance

Lisbeth, known to everyone as Liz, is a light-brown caracal in a blue cap and navy jacket with a white camera slung around her neck. She used to work for Animal News, the Animal Corporation’s news organization, until she was fired for reporting on the anomaly infection - which the Corporation dismissed as “fake news.” In truth, she had gotten too close. Energetic, exaggerative (expect “Huuuuge” and the occasional emoji), and stubbornly determined, she keeps investigating on her own, and she wants your help. She is not an anomaly, and shooting or tasing her does nothing.

When She First Turns Up

Liz can visit the hospital starting at Shift 7 and higher. She was originally programmed to appear around Shift 11, but the August 22, 2026 “Even More Lore!” update moved her debut as early as Shift 7 - the same update that added her house. She was added to the game on July 10, 2026 as its first female interactive NPC.

The UV Camera Quest, Step by Step

Liz hands you her special UV Camera along with the name of a patient she wants photographed at the check-in window. Photograph the right patient and she returns with a new name, four photos in total. The rules that matter:

• Do not waste a photo on the wrong patient. She reclaims the camera, says she cannot trust you, and never returns for the rest of the run.
• After the third photo she gifts you a chocolate bar - worth up to 60 restored sanity, far stronger than coffee.
• The fourth patient is the dangerous one. Each photo shows a deeper stage of anomaly infection, and the final subject’s transformation is complete: on picking up the fourth picture, that patient turns into a Mimic and attacks whoever is nearby. The wiki recommends rejecting, tasing, or shooting them before you inspect the photo. The first three subjects are ordinary patients and will simply faint if hit.

Completing all four photos finishes the “Liz quest completed” Journal entry (15 coins), and Liz comes back to collect her camera.

What She Is Investigating - and the House Visit

Liz is trying to prove the “anomaly outbreak” is not a natural disease but the result of Animal Corporation experiments, using your UV photos as evidence of patients transforming stage by stage. After the quest she returns with an Animal News issue covering her investigation - watered down by the Corporation - and later invites you to see the full picture at her house after your shift ends. Accept, and you are teleported there when the shift closes.

Her apartment holds an investigation corkboard: her sticky notes, old articles about the hospital’s founder, the four infection-stage photos you took, pictures of Dr. Harlow and of Ratthew with Rattina, plus a sketched hospital layout speculating about “stairs?” behind the new door next to Room 6. Then Ratthew arrives - Liz met him as an informant, and she trusts him enough that she threw out her own suitcase after he warned that suitcase-carriers hide secrets. He plays a tape recorded inside Animal Corp’s vents showing the DNA whiteboard in Dr. Harlow’s office, Ron at work, and a box of maple syrup. The evening ends abruptly: a red-eyed figure dressed like the Secret Agent knocks, and Liz urges you to leave and act as though nothing happened. It is the game’s clearest look yet at who is behind the anomalies - and at who is watching the people asking questions.
